About Me

Hello! I’m Grace, a writer, editor, and researcher based in “Vancouver,” the unceded territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh peoples. I use the pronouns they/them.

I graduated with an Honours BA in Sociology and Professional Writing & Communication from the University of Toronto in 2020. Currently, I’m an MA Sociology candidate at Simon Fraser University researching how capitalist and nationalist mythologies inform the precariousness of racialized migrants, particularly Asian immigrants.

My latest book, We Search For God on Mars, is a poetry chapbook available from Bottlecap Press as of 2021. My debut short story collection, Prelude: & Other Stories, came out from Life Rattle Press in 2020. My prose and poetry have appeared in Plenitude Magazine, The Capilano Review, Necessary Fiction, antilang., Rigorous Magazine, and The Thirlby.
